FAQ
Collection of Frequently Asked Questions about Spinoza Navigator.

Where do we download a full version (not trial) of the software from?

You can purchase a full version of the software at the Spinoza Store.

What ports and other network settings do we need to ensure are open on our network for our projectors to communicate with your software? For example, Ping.

For devices that are on the same local area network (LAN) with the Navigator server, each device you wish to manage with Navigator must be assigned a unique static IP address for that network. Also ping (ICMP packets) have to be allowed.

A device that is on a different local network from the the Navigator server must be assigned a static IP address that is unique to the Internet or to the wide area network (WAN).

How many machines are we entitled to manage without additional cost?

You can purchase one of four licenses for Navigator:

Single Edition - (1 device)
Standard Edition - (5 devices)
Professional Edition - (20 devices)
Enterprise Edition - (50 devices)

Contact Spinoza Technology for custom pricing to enable the management of more than 50 devices.

How can I use Spinoza Navigator to save money on new projector bulbs?

Most projector bulbs have a lifetime expectancy of 1500-2000 hours. You can preserve bulb life by making sure projectors are turned off when not in use – especially over a long weekend. Navigator lets you monitor projector status remotely and turn your projectors off or on as needed - automatically. You can even create a customized email message designed to let you know when a machine has been left on too long or is ready to have a new bulb installed.
